Discover the Glass
Why Glass?
Laminated Glass...
A Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) sheet that bonds the 2 glasses together. The PVB sheet also provides reinforcement to the glasses. The PVB can also be tinted, giving a privacy screen appearance to the glass. When the glass is only laminated, if it breaks, it shatters into large pieces. The PVB sheet helps to retain the glass, but the risk of cutting exists.
...Toughened SECURIT
It is a specific process where the glass is passed through a furnace at over 600 degrees and then cooled in the air. This allows an increase in the mechanical and thermal resistance of the glass. When the glass breaks, it shatters into thousands of very small pieces. Unlike laminated glass alone, the glass pieces are so small that there is no risk of cutting. The glass edges are polished: this is the most aesthetic finish that guarantees optimal safety. The edges are impeccable, and there is no risk of cutting compared to 'raw cut' glass.
Why Aluminum?
Aluminum is a noble material known for being light, sturdy, and design. It withstands different weather conditions without losing its splendor. The seasons pass, but aluminum does not 'move.'
Self-supporting Rail...
All our rails are designed to be self-supporting, capable of supporting the weight of the glass and the safety of individuals. Our aluminum is anodized, giving it anti-corrosion characteristics.
...with Sleek Design
The rails are directly screwed and sealed to the concrete slab, without posts or handrails: absolute design and lightness.
